These film booths provide access to the museum's film and video collection, including around 300 artworks, artist documentaries and film and video works that are part of art installations. The database also includes around 400 educational films about artists, artworks, art history and the museum's own history and educational programmes. In the Depot, films and videos are stored as physical objects, such as videotapes and film reels. These artworks therefore cannot be viewed in the same way as paintings or sculptures.To preserve the collection and make it accessible, these works have been digitised and can be viewed here for research and study purposes (Copyright Article 15h). The digital versions provide only an impression of the works. To experience them as works of art, they need to be presented in accordance with the artist's intentions.
